Design in Details

This is a residential home of G+2 structure located at Gulbarga Karnataka. The overall theme of the home was to be a high-end modern home. This project was designed in such a way that the home opens up to the surrounding.
On the second-floor balcony, the client wanted an outdoor garden seating with a covered glass roof along with a sliding flooding window. This allows the client to open up the balcony space on a good weather day and on bad weather you can still enjoy the weather from the inside with a view. While working on any project we like creating transparency between the client and studio. We achieve this by involving the client at each and every step of the design.
While we were designing the façade in order to open the house to the surrounding, we converted one of the staircase walls to the curtain wall. The main issue that came with this was the security issue and that was achieved by using a security glass that used 2 toughened glasses. This house is designed in order to welcome the surroundings but also while maintaining the privacy of its resident.
